1. Install and open Friday on your computer.
  2. In Settings, add the API key for at least one AI provider.
  3. Choose the provider and model for the assistant.
  4. Optionally configure speech-to-text, text-to-speech, and image generation.
  5. Start chatting and approve any permission prompts for actions that touch files, accounts, or outside services.
  6. Extend Friday by enabling skills, adding MCP servers, linking Telegram or Discord, or creating a recurring scheduled task.

Friday supports Windows, macOS on Intel and Apple Silicon, and Linux.

The interface supports English and Italian, light, dark, and system themes, a command menu, and optional menu-bar or tray presence.
